Solar sales representatives will see the sales process through by generating leads and solicitation of qualified homes for solar. Solar Sales Representative Responsibilities
- Perform in-home consultations with customers, building trust and rapport with prospective customers.
- Providing accurate in-home needs assessments and corresponding analysis.
- Resolving customer concerns and overcoming challenges.
- Participating in ongoing training, development and certifications.
- Pursue multiple outbound marketing initiatives including canvassing, door knocking, referrals and personal marketing to source new customers.
- Update company systems with all pertinent data throughout the sales process.
- Effectively communicate and maintain customer relationships. Keep customers updated on project status with the support of internal concierge and operations teams.
Solar Sales Representative Requirements
- Previous sales experience preferred but not required.
- Must be flexible working weekend and evening appointments.
- Must be able to self generate leads.
- Must have transportation.
- Willing to work in an outdoor setting.
- Highly persuasive, self-disciplined and honest.
- Great problem solving and communication skills.
- Must have a great work ethic and be coachable.
